Team GB are close to breaking 100,000 likes for an update

The Team GB Facebook fan page has seen meteoric growth this week. With the medals now flowing, their Facebook fans are liking in their thousands.

Currently the most popular post has 92,000 likes and counting. Could it break the 100,000 barrier this weekend? In context this update is receiving 29 likes per minute. The second most popular update is currently running at an average of 25 likes per minute.

Not even Bradley Wiggins or Chris Hoy are close to this figure.
